Can You Use Multiple Cashback Sites?

Some cashback sites have shops that others don't, or offer better deals. So can you use more than one?

There is nothing to stop you joining as many of these sites as you like. You can choose which one you want to use each time you shop for something.

But there is a drawback to this, which we'll get to in just a moment.

The are two big advantages of being a member of multiple sites though.

  1. Firstly, you can compare them when you are ready to buy something. Not only do cashback rates vary between the different sites, but they may also change over time or sometimes give extra promotional bonuses. So just because Site A was better than Site B last time doesn't mean it will be better again this time! So it pays to check first. When you know which one gives you the best cashback deal, then you can make a better choice :-)
  2. Secondly, not all cashback sites will have deals with all online shops. So if you only join one site you may not be able to get any cashback at all when you buy from certain places.

The Problem With Using Multiple Cashback Sites

If you do join multiple sites you do need to be aware of the minimum payout limits of each site. This used to be a major problem as minimums used to be around £25+ – but through competition this has now dropped for most sites down to just £1. Double check though to be safe.

You also need to take into account how you want to spend your cashback when you withdraw it. Some sites give you additional bonus amounts if you have your cashback paid in credit for certain shops. So you might actually get 10% extra if you have the cashback paid as e.g. Costa credit. So it's worth knowing what those bonuses are and which ones appeal to you personally.

TIP: Best Way For Most People

Here's what we suggest. Join 2 (or 3) of the best from our list of UK cashback sites. Decide which one is your favourite (covers all your favourite shops, and gives the best bonuses at somewhere you would want to spend your cashback). Then always use your favourite - except when there is a better overall deal or bonus at one of the other sites :-)

But don't wait until you need to buy something before joining. Join those 2 or 3 sites now, get the accounts all set-up and ready to go. Bookmark them, and know which one is your favourite.
